Photomator • Re: iCloud Drive - two separate folders

I wanted to post an update to let everyone know I've found a way to fix this. I'm not sure what's causing it, but that doesn't really matter because the fix works for why-ever it's happening.

On the device that has changed the name of the Pixelmator Pro folder to something else (on mine it renames it to Pixelmator without the icon), turn off iCloud Drive in the Mac settings. Mac will ask if you want to save a copy of the files onto your computer that are in the iCloud. I chose no because I knew they would redownload once I turned iCloud Drive back on. I waited about 10 seconds then reenabled iCloud Drive in the settings, and all the folders in iCloud redownloaded back to the computer.

It took a couple minutes, but all the folders got redownloaded, and the correct name of Pixelmator Pro returned with the icon on it. Pixelamtor Pro know works great.

For some background, this happens if I do a fresh install of the app or I get an update. It just happened today when I downloaded the latest 3.5.8 update. It happens on both my desktop map and my laptop.
