Hello
I'm trying to replicate handwriting from a relative in the 1940s, and she would have used a fountain pen. So the stroke has a little change of thickness to it as the pen changes angle, but not quite as much as the chisel or calligraphy brush. I've tried duplicating and adapting those tools but end up with very messy strokes.
For example: take the Jumbo Chisel tool. Under Advanced Settings, change its shape direction to even out the difference between vertical and horizontal strokes. Now make a test draw. The stroke leaves little spits at the ends of the stroke, which does not look right.
Has anyone successfully replicated a fountain pen look?
Thank you!
