Don't listen to the luddites. They said this about photography, sound recording, and just about every form of art done on computer. Anyone who could get replaced by AI was already replaced by Google Photos.stuff is for hacks and art thieves without any imagination or skill.
I find Pixelmator Pro to be an essential companion to the AI art I have made. Some of my works have over fifty layers of AI generated elements in one pic. Your background removal tool is a godsend to me. But the need to go back and forth from Pixelmator to DrawThings tends to fill my desktop with intermediate files that can get confused with the final output. Being able to render an image directly into a Pixelmator pro layer would be amazing, especially if it could intelligently respond to the existing layers. (Matching lighting, for example.)
